After reading Twin Souls I knew I was hooked on this series and had to buy the next two books.Hybrid did not disappoint. There were more twists and surprises. I had my suspicions on one of the characters.
Every character is well thought out and this author writes with beautiful descriptions without going overboard. The ending was a cliffhanger so of course I immediately started with the 3rd book.
I do not want to be a spoiler so I will say if you like Vampire tales with a twist, innocent romance and deep characters, you'll love this series.

Not as good as the first book but not a waste of time either. Still think it's weird that she agreed to wait till she and Salem were married before they has sex yet she thinks it's ok that she dropped out of school. Saying that nothing about school.could have prepared her for her new life Is a joke. There are a lot of weird twists in this book.
What a wonderful series of YA books. I hope you read them as they are great stories! Lots of twists and turns. Mysteries, puzzles and adventures.
Took me awhile to get into this book. Mainly because I delayed reading it after the first book. Once I go reacquainted with the characters and storyline, I was unable to put it down!
The story line becomes more and more cliché as you go along. Its like every sci fi movie ever written all combined in one. This book was still worth the read but had increasing editing errors.
Hybrid shows the evolution of the characters as well as family dynamics. Generations of hunters are forced together and the drama begins. With some vampire hunting as icing , Alex begins to develop as a young woman. This second book entices me to read the third. I have to see what happens next.
This is a YA series. It’s readable. I doubt all read all the the books she has listed. I will read the Nevermore series. I think young girls will really like the books but I want to read something more adult.
This series has a good, entertaining story line. You won't get overly attached to any of the characters, but you won't hate them either. Its a little different play on the whole vampire theme. A quick read that is good for a day when you just want to relax and not put too much thought into what you are doing.
